Before the update, I was having to freeze the track, unfreeze the track (but keep the audio), and remove the AU instrument and any AU effects I had inserted - very time consuming and annoying. Now that the memory consumption is no longer a problem after a track is frozen, I can quickly bounce back and forth between tracks, unfreezing 1 or two tracks at a time to work on them while leaving everything else frozen. The recent Cubasis update fixed the freeze issue where memory was still being consumed by the AU even when it was frozen. I'm actually used to a workflow of only working on 1 or two tracks at a time in Cubasis, freezing them, and then moving on to another track. Meaning, that you may not be able to use as many instances as you imagine. While Inter App Audio is sufficient, loading multiple AUs would make composing so much more efficient, being able to work on more than one track at a time in Cubasis.Īs long there is that Apple iOS memory limitation for AUs, all sample based AUs will suffer badly from that. I've had Miroslav 2 for a while and I like it a lot, but if there are unique instruments in Misroslav 1 that I don't have I might just have to grab, any news on the timeline of Sampletank adding AUv3? SampleTank is probably my favorite and most used sound module I have that doesn't yet work as an Audio Unit. The Miroslav Philharmonik 2 pack does not include Miroslav 1. That is certainly not true, ST3 runs very well in Reaper so I'm sure the support team would be able to get you running without issue.Īlso, SampleTank 3 Custom Shop (the free version) is 64-bit (since SampleTank 3 has been 64-bit only from the go) and the only 32-bit versions were 2.x and said:ĭoes Miroslav Philharmonik 2 include the sounds of Miroslav Philharmonik? Or we need to purchase both? Please send me any ticket where you may have been told anything otherwise and I'll take care of it. Reaper is supported and the 64-bit version SampleTank 3 runs very well in it.

My question is: are you considering to bring out a 'also Reaper friendly' 64 bit version of Sampletank 3 Custom Shop in the near future? Both very strange arguments, in my opinion. Hello I am tempted to buy Miroslav Philharmonik 2 and use it in my (free) Sampletank 3 Custom Shop VSTi (and VST3) in Reaper (latest 64 bit version) on my Windows 7 (64) PC, but Sampletank keeps crashing Reaper, so I can't use it!! According to messages on several forums, the problems with Sampletank and Reaper are 'known problems' and may be related to the fact that the free version of Sampeltank for PC is only 32 bit (and problematic on 64 bit DAWs) and that Reaper is 'not supported' by iKMultimedia.
